Carpenter Beach expanded the manor house of a beautiful 1880s estate in Bluemont. The project added a large kitchen addition where an enclosed porch once stood to replace a smaller kitchen that was last updated 40 years ago.
The work included foundation and exterior work, interior finishes, landscape work, stone and stucco, and a copper roof and gutters. Local Woods was used for the flooring to maintain the home’s historic look, despite the addition being a new build. Like other historic Loudoun homes, our work also included modernizing structural issues and insulation for another century of country living.
