The Red Fox Inn has been a landmark since 1728. A block away, the Stray Fox suites and cottages offer additional space for overnight guests. Carpenter Beach was called in to restore and modernize the rooms.
We added luxury bathrooms to each space, gutting and rebuilding space in eight suites and adding new fire alarms, electrical, plumbing, and lighting. Since the rooms have a historical look and we were adding modern luxuries, the project demanded materials that are both beautiful and functional for commercial use. The project included custom metal vanities, custom marble showers, high-end fixtures, and new doors and windows that matched the historic look.
Our attention to detail and familiarity with historic building construction was an asset to the project.
